  • Went forward to scrub green weed & slime off the deck. Looked over the side to find the whole fore deck top sides (not deck) thick with green weed & slime. No wonder yacht slow!

  • I may eventually run out of mentholated spirits to prime the stove. So experimented with priming with kerosene. Ugh the kerosene is so smoky – black smoke. (It is a kerosene pressure stove). I will have to wipe the cabin now time. It works but such a smoky cabin.
