Log

  • Today I took out & threw overboard most but not all cans of tomatoes, spaghetti, baked beans, tin fish, pineapple & mushrooms from port cabin food locker in galley. Many of the tins had leaked or swollen with gas i.e. gone off. My choice of supplies are thinning. It is going to be a long time before I get a decent feed.

Log

  • Scrubbed over the side with long handed scrubber. The top sides are a mess, goose neck barnacles near the stern – huge & will not come off below the water line.
  • Took out life raft & the unbolted life raft locker & removed. Then cleaned & sorted out the contents. A yucky job now completed & all back together again.
  • I am going to be out of methylated spirits (used for priming stove) months ahead of schedule despite my conservation.
  • Isle de Trinidad starboard side on horizon. I have passed by Trinidad 7 times over the past 11 years.
