  • Strong to gale wind continues, but perhaps the severe squalls have abated – I hope.
  • Looked over the side of the yacht at the stern. There are oodles, lots, zillions of large gooseneck barnacles under the stern, which would slow the yacht a lot.

  • Spent a couple of hours re-securing lee cloths on port quarter berth which tore away in last Thursday’s gale.
  • Condensation is everywhere & it makes a mess with the mould. All to be spring cleaned when it gets warmer.
