  • Rocks Ho St Peter & Paul Rocks. I navigated for them & found them. The tallest pinnacle is a little higher than the top of Parry Endeavour’s mast.
  • I’m now continuously north in the hope of finding the usual rain belt in the Equatorial trough & will top up all my fresh water tanks.

What is the Saint Peter and Saint Paul Rocks?

The Saint Peter and Saint Paul Rocks (Portuguese Penedos de São Pedro e São Paulo), is an archipelago lying about 685 miles (1,100 km) off the coast of northeastern Brazil, just north of the Equator. Under Brazilian sovereignty, it consists of six large islands, four smaller ones, and several rock tops. It is one of the most important fishing sites of northeastern Brazil, and several migrating species are caught there annually. The islands are unhospitable and uninhabited.   • Today I took out & threw overboard most but not all cans of tomatoes, spaghetti, baked beans, tin fish, pineapple & mushrooms from port cabin food locker in galley. Many of the tins had leaked or swollen with gas i.e. gone off. My choice of supplies are thinning. It is going to be a long time before I get a decent feed.
